Highland Sporting is set across 3,000 acres of breathtaking Highland landscape, offering exceptional driven shooting, varied rough shooting and traditional deer stalking in one of Scotland’s most accessible and dramatic sporting estates.
From high pheasants sweeping over steep valleys and partridges presented across rolling hill ground, to rewarding walked-up rough shooting and the roar of red stags on the open hill, every experience is rooted in heritage, skill and respect for the land.

The hosts
The commercial shoot was established in 1988 and has since grown into a spectacular destination for driven shooting for all quarries, where guests are welcomed and treated like part of the family.
As a proudly family run business, Highland Sporting is deeply passionate about delivering exceptional value for money and creating truly memorable field sports experiences in Scotland.
Pheasants and partridges are driven over sweeping valleys and from woodland originally planted for shooting in the early 1900s. We also present partridges across the hill ground in a style reminiscent of traditional grouse shooting, offering fast, sporting birds that test accuracy and skill.
In addition, we host a dedicated driven duck shoot, where ducks are lifted from ponds high up in the valleys and expertly pushed down through the estate’s natural contours. This creates a thrilling and distinctive driven duck experience, enhanced by the dramatic landscape and varied topography.
Highland Sporting’s rough shooting days offer a relaxed and enjoyable alternative to formal driven sport, combining walked up opportunities with mini driven holes and corners across the estate. These smaller, informal days are designed for those who appreciate variety, camaraderie and a traditional countryside atmosphere.
In addition to woodland edges and valley cover, rough shooting also takes place across open heather hill ground and marginal ground, providing a more expansive and traditional sporting experience.
